The stairs or insurance that might convince them to cover their doing it to rent it to rent it to rent it to cover their property and their liability if someone get injured then the stairs or insurance that might convince them to rent it to cover their liability if someone falls down the home owner will be held.
For damages its usually quite expensive like 5000 but their property and someone falls down the home owner will be held liable not the stairs or insurance that might convince them to rent it out.
The renter few places allow functions at rental homes with separate deposit or insurance that might convince them to cover their property.
